Have you always wanted to learn how to make tamales? Now is your chance to learn from a master tamalera!

Our current Tamale Making Classes schedule for 2013 is (class time is 10 AM–12:30 PM):

Class fee:  $75 per class – includes recipe and one dozen tamales. Class fees support our Senior Wellness Program and Senior Home Delivered Meal Program. Please register in advance.

Free Tax Prep at El Centro de la Raza January 15th to April 15th

El Centro de la Raza is once again honored to be a United Way Free Tax Prep Campaign site and will provide free bilingual tax preparation services to those in need, including low-income families, from January 15 - April 15, 2013.

Free Tax Prep services will be provided at El Centro de la Raza (2524 16th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144) beginning January 15th on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-9 PM and Saturdays 10 AM – 2 PM in room 106. Please see the schedule below.
